    Hi
I have recently purchased a 32" HD Tv which has a VGA output. I just want to ask a few questions so I can get the best possible viewing experience out of it, via my laptop input (which is an Acer Aspire 6920G).

    1. Can the audio be output through the TV via VGA?

    2. What is the best screen resolution I can set it to, because at the momment there are parts of the screen cut off such as the scroll bar, and how do i set the screen resolution?

    3. How do I turn my laptop monitor off, so my desktop is produced through my TV only?

Help will be aprecited, thanks :)

1: sound thru vga cable no unless it has the audio plug attached to it.
2: resolution is mainly determined by videocard so see what yours is.
3: check your laptop manual as all laptops are different as some are set up in the bios & others use a button on the keyboard.
does the hd tv have built in speakers? if so then there should have been a power cable, vga cable, possible dvi cable & an audio cable that came with that tv.
