I currently use a Radeon hd 3650. My CPU is q6600 at 2.4 and I have 4 gb of ram. I was trying to play splinter cell conviction but received major lag during gameplay. I will assume its because of my graphics card. I had my resolution set at 1024x768 and everything was set on low setting. What suggestions do you guys have for a new video card? Would the HD 5000 series be a worthy investment? btw my mobo doesnt support crossfire.

The 5770 would blow your mind coming from a 3650...just make sure you either get one with good cooling, or you get a good aftermarket cooler...they are designed to run hot, but they seem to run too hot even for their design.

It is hard to recommend any of them just because all the good ones cost over $50 and are designed more for the 5870 than the 5770.

The MSI R5770 Hawk seems to have a good cooling setup on it...it should not need extra cooling unless you decided to do a crazy overclock.

Much higher settings...but remember that the 5770 is not the top of the line, so most games still won't run at super-high settings. 4GB should be enough ram to run most games at high settings, and your CPU may be outdated, but it is still fast enough.
