I have one tuner card installed Wintv HVR-1600. I have another one in a different computer that isn't being used so I thought I would pull it and make some us of it. What I want to know is if I should be worried about having enough power or keeping the system cool. Any other tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated as well.

    Thanks

Power should not be an issue, HP uses crummy PSUs, but they are still overkill for the parts that the system comes with. Heat might be an issue; I know my HVR1600 gets real warm, even at idle. I think if you put a pair of them next to eachother without some extra cooling, you might overheat one of them.

My HVR1600 is placed between a hot video card and a hot RAID card...without extra cooling, the system starts to get unstable within about a minute of boot. I use a blower fan to keep everything cool, it looks a bit like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8...l_Replacement_Blower_Fan_BG0903-B047-VTL.html

I know you don't have much space in your system, but perhapse this smaller unit would fit: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6...verflow_75mm_x_15mm_Blower_Fan_B127515BU.html
