Wait... Should I get AR MAX or AR Max EVO to do the exploit?

I'm confused because I've been hearing complaints about AR MAX not working with their usb stick. And Evo is too expensive. Any suggestions?

If your looking to install fmcb 1.8 , then its actually much easier to find Swap Magic, and use it too install.

To find the Armax 'with media Player' to do the exploit is very hard and the price has probably been jacked up.
Its an older version of armax that has the media player.

Yes, you need to have the 'media player' if you have a slim ps2.

If you just have a FAT PS2, you don't need the 'media player' but it must support USB game save transfers.
It is the Armax evo disc.
