I am fairly new here (this is my first post!) so please excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong section. anyways, I am about to backup my metal gear solid 2 substance game but my DVD+R DL (verbatim 8.5 GB at 8x speed) says RW on the side and I heard that the PS2 can't run RW games. should I burn it anyways? also, how do I go about getting the modchip information on my PS2? it was just sent to me from a friend and he said it already has a modchip but I don't know how I would know if it supports DVD9. and I again heard that there is another specific patch for MGS2 so it would run on a PS2. I only have 1 and 1 only disc so I really do not want to let it go to waste.
