alright first off i read up about 5 hours of info so i understand basically what i'm dealing with here i just need a little help on certain things

alright well heres the situation
my friend wishes to soft mod his fat ps2 i have a slimline with a Swapmagic DVD not the cd unfortunate i know but the issue here is i dont understand how the process works.

first the trigger disc then something to get the the usb the copy over softmod to memory card i understand that the issue im having is how excatly?

i use swapmagic as a trigger then im unsure what to use to get to my usb, i burnt some different programs and such i have found from people but to no avail. do i need to buy armax or codebreaker? do they something on the disc like swapmagic does im kinda lost here. other then that it seems pretty straight forward i believe my usb is all good to go and the program from what i've seen looks easy enough.
