I just got swap magic 3.8 in the mail yesterday and had a few iso's of some old games I wanted to try out. Particularly Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. It's about 1.9 gigs so I'm using the DVD disc. I used Alcohol 120% to burn the iso on dvds(DVD-R)and the PS2 recognizes them. But when I want to pick which game to play, after I select it, the screen goes black.
I found an old thread posted here that had the same problem (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/354044) but it was of no further help. I tried rebuilding the iso with ExPERT gnie and didn't work. Also, I'm burning them at 4x and 8x which works as far as getting the title screen. Please help, thanks.

since you have swap magic you should try free McBoot im not sure on this but swap magic might not work for that game but free McBoot might and once its installed you dont need to swith disk's anymore,if you goggle it you find it easy, and on their home page is a tab that says installation, under that tab is how to install free McBoot using swap magic.info from the official site =
Free McBoot (FMCB) is a self booting app that only needs to be installed onto a PS2 MemoryCard. No modchips or Boot discs are required once installed.
FMCB is a simple program launcher for homebrew applications (apps) and doesnt come with any programs included with an official release. It is however pre-configured to use several recommended apps , so all you would need to do is simply add the ones you wish to use
hope this help's you
