How do you remove copy-right protection from a PS2 game?

hi, i rented a game from a video store and im now trying to make a backup disc of it because my PS2 has a mod chip and i want to play it. Does anyone know of a good program i could use to remove the copy-right protection so Nero can successfully make a backup copy of the game???
