Trouble with PS1 Backup cut scenes skipping

I made backups of a couple games using Alcohol 120 at 4x and DVD Decryptor at 2x. 2 copies of each game. On both of them the gameplay works fine but the cutscenes skip. I'm using memorex CD-R. Also in Silent hill when they're talking it will mess up and skip forward. What could be causing this?

Use Alcohol to burn the backup you made.

SElect the datatype 'playstation'

I would also burn it faster.

I burn all my CD including PS1 backups at leat 1/4 speed of the rated disc.

So usually 16x works for me.
