Okay. So my Xbox is 1.6 and it's flashed with m8_16 (with LBA support). For 2 games (so far) (Battlefront 2 and Avatar) the games freeze at the same spot each time. I know it isn't faulty files because I've tried playing it off of the legit DVD (in chip mode) and it still freezes. If I don't play it in chip mode, it doesn't (but this isn't an option anymore because my DVD drive is broken). Why is it doing this? I've turned off IGR in evox.ini in the three places, have tried clearing my cache and game saves, and changed the clock.

more info needed.. how are you trying to play these games with no dvd drive?
