Need help backing up xbox 360 games!

ok, i've been trying to backup my 360 games for a week. First off, i cant get wxripper to work on vista 64 bit. which is fine since i have another computer. but when it comes to that computer which runs windows xp, every time i start the dump on wxripper it freezes. I am using an lg ge20 external drive which can burn dvd+r dl. Any help please!!!!
