networking old xbox to pc

    so i am new to these forums however i have heard that you can network your old xbox to your pc and i have done some research about how to go about that i still need more guidance if anyone can guide me or give some useful information that would be gratley aprecaited thanks

    It'd pay to be more descriptive & post where your getting stuck on,there are tuts if you use the site search function as the questions have usually been answered,it's all fairly straight forward so long as the correct cable is being used meaning direct connection to pc with crossover ethernet cable

    plugged straight to pc or router? if pc then need a crossover cable, if router pc and xbox need to be hardwired to router.
    try googgling smb or samba share(for media)
