Does modding your xbox make it able to play xbox games? Is there a certain route I have to go with modding it so that I can enable it to play them?

So if I softmod mod it with the splinter cell thing, I can play backups without needing any programs? Also, since I have your attention, what's FTP do for your xbox ?

You can use the USB ports in the front (controller slots) in which you can buy an adapter to create a female USB. You can also make one out of a memory card.

once upon a time i had a few xbox's 1 had the xecuter pro lite, the others were softmodded. i didnt use action replay.. what i did was grab an old contoller and spliced withy a usb cord. plugged in pc and downloaded a driver for windows. this allowed me to swap gamesaves and exploit data as well. just need a memory card for controller, but since u have to anyways.
