Does a dvd player exist with a Timer to play DVDs at a specific time?

Hi folks....I know that there are dvd recorders that you can set the timer to record at a specific time but I was wondering if there exists a dvd player or specific software solution that you can set a time for a dvd to be played back. Also if there is a software solution how do you get past the main menu if you are not able to be at that spot to advance beyond the main menu stage?

Does this functionality exist? If so what models or brand of software should I look at?
