I have a jvc th- c50 5.1 1200w Surround sound system.been working fine for the past 2 years.now all of a sudden it just powers off on its own.sometimes it'll do it once or twice,sometimes it does it like seconds apart.sometimes it does it a few minutes apart. what can i do?

It might be the short protection circuit.
If the power supply, power transistors, caps or other circuitry fails or is ready to die it kicks in to protect a catastrophic failure like, smoking or burning the house down.
A relay could also be the problem.
