bios to fully play japan psx games on xbox

i have dragonball z legends on my xbox and it plays right up to level 2 (ginyu force), but after that it freezes. i am woundering which bios do i need to get this to work correctly? i currently use the standard scph1001 and woundering is there any better bios for playing japanese games? also ive played this from disk with the same bios on my pc but it gets stuck in the same exact spot (one on xbox was downloaded recently off a website, & the one i played on pc is a original game made decades ago; which is far from coincidence). please advice me
