Hi I have a philips lite on v1 disk drive and I want to flash it I bought a sata cable and a sata to usb 2.0 adaptor and when I bought it i was told this would flash my xbox 360 but I cant get it to work I could get a different Philips disk drive from a old pc to show up on my laptop using it but that connects to the adaptor differently i have a esata connection on my laptop can I do it through that
There is no way it will fit in the esata port, so out of the question. As for the usb to sata adapter, I don't see how you would find a driver that would work with it, for you have to install the PortIO driver for sata to work on it. The PortIO driver will not look for the USB device.
