i have a chipped xbox and used aid 4.30 to try make xbmc my default dash. but now no matter what i do it only boots ms dash? and i dont have the flubber animation at start up. i can boot aid disc and ftp and run any dash from disc but its a pain you know? i have another box i put duo x2 chip in no problem. any ideas?
The flubber comes from the bios not the hdd.. so I would say your chip is disabling the flubber and the dash path is wrong.
*sigh* .. try installing a dash that isn't xbmc (because that's broken more often than it works in stupid ways.. like the default file being the wrong name or having caps in it or something else equally careless and retarded) What chip is in this one? Does it have a bios.. it should do but maybe not... I have never seen a duox2 in the flesh.. we didn't have a supplier here and they were the same price as the xecuter2.6 so ..
iv pulled it out its an old chip! says exlinx xc9572xl pc44cmn0417 f1305631a underneath. dont know where it came from it came in this box
Can't remember those.. could it be a "cheapmod? .. something which just plays backups? Think you will have to google how to work with it because mostly I can't be bothered doing the hunting any more.
very frustrating this! ive loaded evox dash with about a dozen different bios files in c partition. but when i select each bios all it says is unknown bios? i must be doing something wrong obviously? any one have any ideas?
