was wondering, got a xbox from a friend. so i have 2 xbox's one hard modded with a xecuter lite 2.3. i installed the chip to the new xbox, and just modded to have avalaunch as a dash, i have backups of C,E, and the epprom.bin i am trying to install a 500 gig HDD but then softmod it. i have used the auto installer 4 and modded the new hdd. then i tried the softmod(the cd has an option for that) but everytime i boot without chip on i get a error. can i just modd the new HDD then delete whatever dash i have and rename xboxdash.xbe to msdash.xbe right.then it will boot normal to MS dash right? anyone got an ideas, its been so long i forgot..
