Damn. I'm softmodding my 5th box, and this one doesn't have a functional ms dash, so I'm afraid to unplug it. I did the c backup in ndure. Then after the softmod I used evox & config magic to get backups of the epprom. The box is/was a kernal 5101 & Dash 5659. Unfortunately I didn't upgrade the dash to 5960 before softmodding. So how do I get the ms dash working again?
Just in case anybody else runs across this, I fixed it by getting the retail 5960 files and using xboxhdm to rebuild the C drive. Now I'll give it go at softmodding it again.
