Setup a network on your pc

In windows go to the control panel then go to the network setup wizard.

Pick the connection that best describes your setup and then name your network. You may have to restart after setting up the network.

Now right click the folder you want to share and select "sharing and security"

Click the checkmark that says "share this folder on the network". Then click the ok button.

Now for xbmc select "WORKGROUP(SMB)NETWORK" and you should see the network workgroup you just made, select the workgroup then you will see your computer. Finally select the computer and you'll see the folder you just shared.

    Easy enough?
