I have used this program for months, and loved it. I have passed it on to friends. I have it on my desktop and lap top.
The desktop system now will totally freeze whenever I try to open dvd shrink. I have to reset the machine every time.
I have disabled all my security, uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing changes. Is there any idea how to get beyond the total freeze, I don't even get an error report.
I have a very strong system, using 2disk drives for fast copying. It was excellent for months! But once this started is has never gone back to working. The laptop's copy is working fine.

oops . Didn't mean to repeat myself.
I followed the thread, and it was suggested that my cpu may be overheating.
The cooling fan is working very well and the heat sink is quite clean.
I want to be clear that I only have to click on the desk-top icon to totally freeze the system. There is not even a hint if starting the program . It happens instantly.
I wonder if there is any possibility that my security system is doing something. Although I tried to run dvd shrink with NO other programs running at all and it still froze.
Too weird . . .
