I have a video of my daughters dance recital made by Mrvideoonline.com
I can not back it up with DVD shrink, DVDFAb5 rip it 4me. The only part it will back up is the introduction to the video which is the Mr. Video Logo. All the software tells me the back up was successful but all I get is the introduction any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Q: Can I copy my video for my friends?

Mr. Video is paid exclusively from the sale of these DVDs. Not only is it illegal to try to copy the DVDs, it is also unethical. Mr. Video puts a signal on the DVDs to prevent illegal copies. It is always an advantage to have the original video packaging and quality. Mr. Video protects its DVDs with a proprietory anti-copying signal burned right onto the DVDs. This doesn't affect the playback of the DVDs.

You could play the dvd on a player and capture the analog signal with something like a dazzle gizmo. Then you could possible burn it, if the copy protection is not passed thru the analog capture??
