DVE Shrink wont oblige

Tried to back up but Shrink returned an error msg cyclic redundancy check.
Tried DVD2 One but said could not open audio file locked or somethin'. What can I use instead? I have to remove some trailers in the process.

Hi

DVD Shrink is not updated any longer but its still good for reducing the size of DVDs so don't get rid of it just yet.

Try DVDFab for ripping new(er) DVDs here http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm its free and very good. Once it's ripped you can reduce the size of the files with DVD Shrink if you wish.

cyclic redundancy errors are typically either a scratched/dirty disc, or an encryption that Shrink cannot handle on it's own.

Update to DvdFab (as suggested) and make sure the optical surface of the disc is clean and scratch free.
