I'm not sure exactly what type of problem I'm having making backups with DVD Shrink. I updated the firmware on my burner (or at least I think I did) and I used some decent media. The media isn't be recognized by your burner. Try seeing if the drive could use a firmware update (3.07 maybe the latest) Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-3520AW> Version: 3.07 and/or Try using different disks to see which ones work for the drive you have.
