Is there a program or process that I can take a burned DVD that has the audio "Out of sync" and reprocess it to bring it back into sync?
It can often be corrected. Is the sync out by a constant amount? If it's constant, you have to find out by how much and you can do that by using a media player like VLC. Play the movie and use either 'Ctrl K or Ctrl L' to get the number. When you have the correct factor, write it down (it's either positive or negative e.g 500 or -500). The movie has to be demuxed into video and audio streams (.m2v and .ac3). Use PgcDemux (remember to check the box for the video) and 'Process' to a new folder. Run AC3 Delay Corrector, load the AC3 file from PgcDemux and insert the value (positive or negative) from VLC in the 'Start-delay' box. 'Write' the new AC3 file.
