Doc on how AVI2DVD processes audio?

#1 19 Jan 2012 @ 17:10
I have a number of AVIs (with Xvid video and AC-3 audio) I'd like to convert to DVD format. AVI2DVD does this just fine, but I am curious as to what it's doing with the audio. (In this case, no conversion of the audio is needed, so I'd prefer a straight copy, but it appears to be doing something much more than that.) I see a number of alternatives to AVI2DVD described in this forum, so I will try those too. But I was just curious as to what AVI2DVD is doing "behind the scenes."

Thanks,
