I recently finished working on my brother's wedding reception, transferring the 8mm vhs tapes to dvd. I've done tons of these and never have I run into an issue such as this.

After capturing the video/audio I compiled a video and audio ts folders after which would open up dvd shrink to complete them on dvd. While using dvd shrink I can preview the video and all audio is correct and working as should. I've also used imgburn and have been able to watch the video on my computer using Nero as everything seems to be fine. When I try to watch the video on Windows Media Player or a home dvd player, there is no audio.

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

In DVD Shrink, what audio track is listed for that certain DVD? Or you can use MediaInfo to get the information. If it isn't Ac3, probably is something that your player cannot decode.
