Hi all when I have 3 or 4 avi files to make a dvd the total size might be 1.5 gb when I try to put only 2 in the burning prog it says they are too big.
Why? and what do Iuse to find the true size of all files?
    Seems windows cant add..
    Thank you

Converting XviD or DivX (typical avi formats) to DVD format (mpeg2) results in larger files.
If the total running time of your avi files is larger than that which your authoring program permits on a standard blank, you either reduce the running time or some programs allow you to create a Half D1 movie which means it would set a lower resolution and lower bitrate for the conversion (which means lower quality).

Generally, video size = running time x bitrate.
