HD avi or mp4?

    Is there a way to tell whether an avi or mp4 file is actually HD besides the auther labelling the file as such?

    yes you can open the video in gspot or media info and check the resolution.some people will notice the quality difference on a hd tv.also hd files are usually bigger.
