Using PowerISO to Burn VOB/BUP/IFO to DVD?

#1 25 Aug 2009 @ 7:19
Okay, sigh.

I've always used PowerISO for mounting ISO --> to DVD, but I've never used it for VOB/BUP/IFO.

Can it be done? Can I create an ISO from these files?

I was able to **load** them into PowerISO via "Add" with no problem, didn't go further b/c I don't want a coaster.. especially since these files are over 7gb.

Btw, I have Nero 7.10, but it always locks up on me with files over about 4gig.. I have plenty of memory/resources.. it just screws up.

Soooooooo, PowerISO?

Thanks

You can try making an ISO with poweriso and save don't burn it. Next mount this ISO, use dvdshrink to open the ISO. If dvdshrink can open the ISO and preview it, then it's a good dvd file.

If dvdshrink won't open up this ISO, gives you "navigational error", then poweriso didn't make the dvd correctly.

I've encounter this problem before and learn that dvdshrink and "nero dvd video files" setting is the only programs that can turn a video_ts folder into a dvd compliant burn.
