blackberry 8520

    Hi when trying to update my sons blackberry 8520 i have lost the blackberry icons from the menus and also after reboot get an error -
    Uncaught exception: java.lang.Error

    The Blackberry apps icon has disappeared now.I have the blackberry desktop manager which i had thought would sort this problem out but it did not .

    Help appreciated.
