The Sony Ericsson Panel SDK for X2 is a set of tools, plug-ins and documentation that allows you to develop and test Panels for the XPERIA X2 phone.
XPERIA Panels are applications that extend the Today Screen API in order to provide a Full Screen immersive experience.
The Microsoft Visual Studio IDE Plug-in allows you to develop and debug XPERIA Panels that run on the XPERIA X2 phone using the included XPERIA X2 Emulator.

You also can develop these types of Panel using the Panel SDK:
• XPERIA Native Panels
• XPERIA Web (HTML) Panels
• XPERIA Panels with OpenGL ES 1.1 support

The support for OpenGL ES 1.1 in X2 provides advanced 3D graphics for an exciting gaming experience.
