I have an old Samsung i607 that works just fine for phone calls and text/mms messaging. I have like 2+ years worth of messages and I cannot get ride of these messages. I can delete them one at a time but if I turn off the phone or power is interrupted, e.g. dropping the phone, the phone reverts back to a previous date bringing back all of the previously deleted messages. Can someone point me in the right direction to clean this up?? Thanks.
feck thats weird are they on the fone or on a memory stick! will a factory reset not do it for ya! what about when it goes back to the previous date and deleting them then!
They are all on the phone. Will the factory reset kill my contact list?? It is has a lot of names and info that I would hate to loose!!!! Oh yeah, if it goes back to the reset date and I start removing messages and turn off power, it goes right back to the same state and all of the old messages come back!! Really strange!
if they (contacts) are on your fone memory then YES it probably would erase them backup your contacts just incase you get other advice from some 1 else and it wipes them
