BB Bold 9930

I have a BB Bold 9930 giving me an issue

I seems like Rim has no real answers for the problem
When them battery is inserted into the BB the red led turns on but the screen stays black
it doesn't seem to light up but just stays black

if you plug into a charger or connect via usb without a battery the bb will display the missing battery icon on the screen
once battery is inserted icon goes away and red led turns on but still nothing on screen


when connecting to blackberry manager a connection failure message pops up and bb manger trys to update hte bb os on the phone and fails

i read online to also try apploader and it also fails at this jvm point when trying to update bb os software

has anyone gotten this issue fixed?
any ideas?
