My wireless provider, who will remain nameless, is refusing to transfer my service from my LG AX300 to my new BlackBerry Pearl 8130 (which was given to me by a family member) without selling me a huge dataplan that I don't need but would double my monthly bill... In any case, I want to unlock (or whatever) both phones, and perform the transfer myself, if it's at all possible. I'm not experienced with this, but if someone is willing to help and explain this process to me, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get this done. Seriously, someone, please, if you have any information to contribute -- I mean anything at all -- I'd be appreciative. I don't even know what all steps are involved in this process so if someone can explain that much to me, that'd be awesome.
