I am seeking some assistance in utilizing GIMP. Anyone here know how to use gimp? What I want to do is take the "S" off the Superman emblem and replace it with an "M" with lighting and shadow effects to make it look cool like the latest Superman emblem, you know? Anyone?

yeah.. gimp has a huge wiki accessible from the "help" menu item.. unlike windoze shite that just takes you to a hopeless M$ round in a big circle.. google "gimp guides and tutorials".. and you will find everything you need. I'm not even going to bother to link you to any guides.. because they are so easy to find.
