Data on memory stick missing

Hey Ive been using my modded psp for around a year and never had any problems. Yesterday I loaded my psp up and it showed that no games were available. When I connected my card to my computer it also showed that there was nothing on the card and all of the folders for the psp were gone. The strange thing is that all of the space taken up is still shown as taken up. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong and if there is any way to fix it without formatting my psp.

Ok... I had a similar problem once, it is 1 of two things.

1) The PSP has hidden the folders (or a virus has) and the PSP doesn't recognise hidden files on the MS, I suggest you goto Control Panel, then select 'Folder Options' then select the View tab (I think thats what its called) then find 'Do Not show Hidden files and Folders' and set it to 'Show hidden.. etc.'

2) The MS is corrupt and you have lost it all. If the above doesnt work try a different MS, or a different computer and see if you cant get it to work,

Ye I used my girlfriends laptop to move some files around and I think it had a virus on it. I used a data recovery program to get my saves back and a couple of games I wanted to play. Thanks for the reply.
