Finally got a PSP with a custom firware. version on it is 5.00 m-33 now what?

5.00 m33-4 on a psp 2001.

so i upgraded to m33-6 but cant put promethus onit
after it says press x to start cfw it says rebooting but when i check the firmware version its still m33-6

It already is on custom firmware, no need for chickhen (also have you been on the dark side of the moon for the last months? Chickhen is simply outdated). To the OP (if you still read this):
Update to
http://psp.dashhacks.com/file/2121
and be happy. That's the latest custom firmware version, it can play all games.

Xbox 360: On my fourth console, first one rrod 3 times, second one sold at ebay because of no HDMI, third one rrod during flashing (supposedly killed that drive), fourth one up and working on LT 3.0
PSP: Slim&Lite 2004 model with 6,60 ME v1.3
PS3: 60 Gig Model with the latest official firmware for going online and a modified case for better cooling
PSVita: Need some games for it, just bought an 8 GB memory card at ebay, awaiting a Photofast addapter for MicroSD-cards.
