Guys i can normally mod anything but this is my psp virginity being broken here!! lol
I attempted to read through the stickies as i always do but there are a lot of subjects there that i aint going to pretend i know about.
In short i thought it better to just tell you guys the model psp and firmware version 6.10 so you can point me in the right direction.
I am by no means lazy, its just i know how quickly things change in the modding scene and thought you guys could save me hours of reading so i can better invest my time into the actual modding process : )
Its my mates PSP and he has upgraded the firmware to 6.10 so i need to know if this is a bad thing or not?
Do i need to downgrade before i mod?
Is there currently a working mod for this firmware so i dont need to downgrade anyway.
Any helpers or pointers will be greatly appreciated

you can't downgrade it if you are on ofw 6.10. just pandorize it and you'll have cfw.

1 make Pandora battery from original psp battery?
2 Install custom firmware via magic memory card?
But how do i know what firmware for a particular psp to put on the memory stick ?
Im obviously a noob here so elaborate a little more mate, i am not used to all the psp lingo

1) Pandrise your own battery (dangerous) but it can be done, or buy one for a few dollars
2) Google MMS maker (Rains is a good one) You need a genuine Sony or Sandisk memory card 2GB or lower. Add the files - this makes it a MMS
3) Firmware
5.00m33-6 - highly stable but all new games must be patched to run
5.50Gen-D3 No patching but not as stable!

Don't make your original battery into a pandora one. The PSP won't run on the Pandora, so you would need a new original one. Get one that is already in Pandora mode or even one that can be used as both.

I have the 2000 version for my slim and use it as a backup battery, so far it is the best payable unoriginal battery I have found (maybe exept for the Pisen one), holds about 3 hours.

Xbox 360: On my fourth console, first one rrod 3 times, second one sold at ebay because of no HDMI, third one rrod during flashing (supposedly killed that drive), fourth one up and working on LT 3.0
