@larryjie, would u mind posting a guide to downgade back to 1.5
As soon as I find a downgrader for 3.80 I will add it to my recovery guide that is in my profile.
I have also updated the MUX 2.0 to include 3.80 M33-5

Place the CONTENTS of the ADD-ON folder in your psp memory stick. Do not place it in any folder. It will ask you if it should replace the existing PSP folder. Select yes.
Now I have a question. After I update to 3.80M33 do I update straight to 3.80M33-5 or do I need to go through all updates. Example. m33-2 then m33-3 then m33-4?

Should it also state that all updates include the previous update (M33-4 includes M33-3,-2,)
And this also answered my question on the previous post I left. Dont know how I missed it. Thanks again.

Hell it even gives you an image of where to put the files.
But if you don't know where the Game Menu is then maybe you need to not try this and use your PSP a little and become familiar with it before attempting this.

I would assume it would be safe to go straight to the newest update. If you where on 3.80 M33 and used the new Network Update option it would download M33-5 update and install it skipping the rest.

The guide is self explanatory.
The guide clearly says "1.50 SE/OE/LE to 3.52 M33-4" and under that section it says "SE/OE/LE custom firmware users start here..."

SE = Special Edition
OE = Open Edition
LE = Leaked Edition
These where custom firmware before M33.

hi i recently used this guide to upgrade from 3.40 OE-A to 3.71 m33-4.. it worked perfectly for about 12 hours, and then i started having some problems, namely the R button and HOME button menu..
R button problem - it's stuck somehow.. which makes most games unplayable.. and makes me go to recovery mode whenever i turn on the psp.. which means that the R button is held.. although i'm not even pressing it..
HOME button menu - it shows the normal "do you want to.." screen with the options "Yes" or "No".. but the controls are stuck to the game i'm playing.. so i have to turn off the psp if i want to play another game..
is it possible that it could be a software problem caused by my upgrade? thanks for any help!

As a rule, I always format my memory stick in the PSP whenever Im doing an up/downgrade. Once formatted, there has always been an original PSP folder in the root of the memory stick as far as I know. The contents of the UPDATE folder include a PSP folder and another file. By placing those 2 files into the memorystick root, the new PSP folder will overwrite the old PSP folder. A box should pop up asking if you want to overwrite it. Yes should be selected.
The Game Menu is the place where you would go when selecting your PSPs UMD, Save Game data, or Memory Stick.
I dont mean to hijack larryljes' thread, so its best if larrylje or someone with more knowledge than I, can assist you further.
