i just bought a psp slim (silver) version 6.39 software

i dont know even where to start with modding this, i have a 2gb duo, i have all the files, the 1.50 firmware renamed to update etc. but i made my pandora battery out of the one it came with, and sony 3.6v 1200mah

followed that guide, put it in, put the files on the duo, navigated to Pandoras Battery Creator and it says nothing but corrupt data, so im confused

please guide me oh wise ones :)

In order to use the Pandora Battery Creator you need to be on custom firmware already.
Also even if that had worked, you would have produced nothing but a brick. The guide you used must be around five years old, otherwhise it would have stated that the PSP 2000 doesn't support firmware 1.50 anymore.
Get 6.39 PRO-B8 and PSPIdent and check if your mainboard version is fully hackable at all. If it is, use 6.39 PRO-B8 to install 6.39 ME v8. All needed files can be found here:

Xbox 360: On my fourth console, first one rrod 3 times, second one sold at ebay because of no HDMI, third one rrod during flashing (supposedly killed that drive), fourth one up and working on LT 3.0
PSP: Slim&Lite 2004 model with 6,60 ME v1.3
PS3: 60 Gig Model with the latest official firmware for going online and a modified case for better cooling
PSVita: Need some games for it, just bought an 8 GB memory card at ebay, awaiting a Photofast addapter for MicroSD-cards.
