Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Psp Standby

#1 03 Nov 2009 @ 5:37
Hi
I am a newbie to psp modding so may not know any technical terms
Basically i followed a tutorial on youtube to hard mod the psp.
I installed Catb50 3.60 firmware then used network update to upgrade to 5.00 m33-6
I can play game iso files and use my psp however when i try to put the psp on standby the psp does not turn on again.
I have to take out the battery plug in the ac wire wait for it to start up again then put the battery back in.
The psp restarts
This means that whenever i put the psp on to standby i lose progress in my games.
This sort of defies the purpose of a psp as it is supposed to be portable and to on it again i have to carry round a ac wire

How long are you keeping the PSP on standby? The battery still gets used in standby mode so if you let it go for a day or two it will run out of power. If it is less time than one or two days, then go buy a new battery as yours may be near death.

did you hard mod the battery to make a pandora? if so that the prob you need a normal battery now. can you turn your psp completely off and back on without removing battery or connecting an ac power supply, have you altered recovery settings?
