Hey Afterdawn!

I used to be a member here but tried to sign in and my account was suspended =\

Anyhow, i have a PSP 5.00M33-6 and i have made the pandora battery and magic memory stick in the passed so i know the basics.
But have not done this in a long time.

My GF is having a PSP for xmas and i said i would downgrade it for her but was unsure whether the latest models can be downgraded via pandora (united kingdom) and is the software still easily available online? (i havent searched yet as i dont have time at this moment but will do later)

Just wanted to be sure before shes buys it.

No. On a PSP 3000 or a PSP Slim/2000 with TA088v3 motherbord it doesn't work at all. And obviously it doesn't work on a PSP Go.

Just had a small update..

I now know its a "psp lite"

Also, if pandora doesnt work, can it be modified some other way?
Additionally, if i tried to downgrade it with pandora but it turns out the motherboard is TA088v3, will it brick or damage the psp?

yes... It wont work at all on a PSP 3000 or a PSP Slim/2000 with TA088v3 motherboard, so it wont cause brick i think.. but since is not working then u shuldn't try it. For the new type of PSP, u need to use ChickenHen to mod it. It is another kind of mod compare to the old models..
