Will using a normal battery brick my PSP ?

My friend put CFW on my PHAT PSP, and I wanna know if I can just buy another regular PHAT battery because the one I have now doesn't last very long, so will it be as simple as just putting the new battery on or will I need to hack the battery or something ?

Yeah you can use a different battery without modding it or anything. It won't hurt it. It doesn't really matter.. I've had about 4 different batteries for my PSP because I somehow manage to screw them up.. Lol
