Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

sounds a bit like when the jumper is set wrong on the dvd drive on a desktop pc but you obviously dont have that on the xbox. maybe somthings shorting out on the mo/board or you have a bad solder joint. have you tried overheating the mo/board to see if it gives you a temporary fix.

funny you should say that i just overheated it, waiting for it to cool down to try adn see if it worked. it seems to be a short that is what the signs are, and the only thing that could cause that is a solder problem. i resolderd the sata and power connectors, if it needs to be reflowed i'll probally just put it on ebay and hope i get 20 bucks or so for it, i think thats about what i paid for it.
