Reading around in some of the other forums, it seems like there's still quite a bit of bug (of course, it is Alpha), but the biggest problem is the Fan Speed control is disabled.
So anyone running older consoles may want to pass on this for the time being.

correct on fanspeed being disabled (removed completely). but read in the fsd irc channel you can code it with the 1.20 codes to add back in fan speed. or just use one of the other fan speed patches.

Here's a big one. And if this is the case I definitely won't be using FSD 2.0.
What I'm reading in the XS forums is that FD shows up on your gamertag. When asked if the team was going to do something about it, their reply was "no" and that it's going to stay that way in future releases, too.
Oh well. Until that changes I'm staying with 1.20.

the reason its showing up for people is for those that are using the same hard drive with their jtag and stock/live consoles. and what do you expect it to do, xexmenu or snes, or gensis360 all do the same thing, so whats the big deal now?

Many use a mem card/usb stick for their profile. So their not swapping hard drives.

No, it's not just those using the same hard drive. It also shows up for those using a mem card or usb stick.
And I've never had Xex Menu show up on my gamertag. It shows up on your's? I'm talking about your actual tag (like in my sig). I don't mean just scanning though your dash.
I knew snes360 would show up. But we were warned not to use our LIVE profile prior to installing and playing it. There is no warning for FSD 2.0 (nothing in the readme).
Who it'll affect is the achievement hunters. Which, thinking about it, doesn't affect me as I don't care about those. But I still use my LIVE profile (on a mem card) on both consoles.

Oh I forgot about people sharing a HDD between stock and JTAG.
I can't imagine the 20 gigs being very expensive nowadays :P

You could always just delete it from your profile before going on back to your Live console.
Anyway, I've connected to Live with Xexmenu in my tag and I've not been banned (Yet lol)
