Will jf 1.87 recognise lt2.0 yet or are we waiting on 1.88? Just popped my fw in 1.87 and it shows as lt1.1.

You would have to wait for the new app but far as I know, you can still use the current one to update.

You should wait on abgx though if you play online, at least I assume we need to? Not sure since these are different types of rips, but I would think we should be able to run a compare to make sure we got good rips.

Damn! The new firmware always releases on a Sunday evening, when I don't have time to update.

I just ripped my original Xmen Destiny and then tried to run thru ABGX. It didnt like that. Do I need to run it thru there if I ripped the game using the latest 800 V3?

why? Abgx is not needed just yet for these rips. These are true rips until prob next dash. The site is not down by the way.

So you guys are saying that we will be "safe" on live for the time being if we are sure that our game is a direct rip?

I wouldn't assume that anything is safe unless c4e says it is, cos he's the one creating the firmware to combat the c/r tests. The RRoD scene releases do seem to have been created using his new 0800 firmware, so they're probably safe, but I wouldn't assume that they're 100% safe. Too many unknowns right now IMO!
