That would be interesting, but I really don't see a release of the Xbox 3/720 or whatever it's going to be called this year. I do however think they may show it off at E3, but that's all that may happen.
But if it does include the 6000 series of AMD, that would be quite interesting, though the original Xbox used nvidia; wonder why they moving away from them...

Also heard a rumor that the new Xbox is gonna not play burned games, and that it will feature a Blu-Ray drive. But I just can't see Sony giving up Blu-Ray that easy. If so, you can say goodbye to the Playstation line!

The "Xbox 360 going BluRay" bs has already grown a beard, this rumor is as old as the PS3.
I personally can't see the next generation of consoles getting released this year or 2013.
Xbox 360: On my fourth console, first one rrod 3 times, second one sold at ebay because of no HDMI, third one rrod during flashing (supposedly killed that drive), fourth one up and working on LT 3.0

i think gamestop has become a big enough industry in the world to have some pull on the used game rumor, that would put them out of business, powers to be would never let that happen, most of the statements made in that entire article are bogus. that being said i own a used game store myself, and i know that the government is trying to put a stop to the sell of all used merchandise, they are afraid they are not getting enough taxes from the sales, i went to a meeting last month over just that issue.

I just use the discs instead of xkey. There's only 10 or less games out each year I like anyway so I'd just be wasting money to buy an xkey.

Well I remember everyone being sarcastic when I wanted to keep my hitachi drive and didn't want to swap and spoof a benq. What happened... spoofing doesn't work now! I would've wasted money on a drive and we're in a recession here so need to spare our money we don't all live in mansions, yes I know one drive is cheap but imagine how many people bought drives and spoofed them, they all would of had to buy new drives again just to get rid of E66 just because everyone thought they were right. What if and I mean "IF" an updated dashboard stops xkey working after I decide to buy an xkey? Awh well I just wasted more money again.
Anyway the xkey does look very good and all I'm just not rich enough to have enough money lying there to buy one.
Anyway this is off topic so an on topic one... like everyone was saying I can't see the next gen consoles for another 2 years at least.
