I bought a xbox 360 with the 3 red lights on ebay my goal was to fix the three red lights and flashed were it could play backups. I have failed on fixing the 3 red lights but this morning i got on my computer and flash the dvd drive(Samsung) and everything went pretty smooth. My question is is there a way to try this drive in another console?? I will like to know if the flash was a success.

You would have to take the other console's DVDkey and flash it to the Samsung.

Thanks for the quick response......i have another question when you put a backup on a console and it tells you that you need an update to play this game, those the mean i didn't have a good flash???

That's pretty normal (and a perfect noob question that gets asked minimum once per week). Just do the update and you're good to go.
